Do, by hair co., was launched in December of 1986 by business partners Yvonne Maes-Nazareth and Maureen Beleck. If you are wondering about the name, “Do” is short for hairdo and “by hair co.” refers to the styling team of Yvonne, Maureen. Our creativity begins but does not end with the name. Our portfolio documents various forms of hairdressing art including fashion photo shoots, hair shows, charitable work and celebrity styling. An excellent reputation and high standard for being the best has been our driving force for 30 years of success. Our motto is and will always be “from classic to contemporary”.

Yvonne, after four years of training with the American Viniyoga Institute in California, will be offering Yoga in group, private and therapeutic applications. Please refer to yogayvonne.com for more information about this type of yoga and the services offered.

Yvonne Maes-Nazareth

Yvonne Maes-Nazareth has been dressing hair for over 35 years. Her advanced training jetted her from Detroit to New York City, Chicago, Dallas, California and Las Vegas, where she attended hair cutting and coloring classes. She has studied personally with Anthony Mascolo, International Creative Director of TIGI

Yvonne has also become certified as a Viniyoga teacher and therapist through a four year training program in California with the American Viniyoga Institute. Maureen Beleck

Maureen Beleck has over 35 years experience as a hair dresser. After receiving her cosmetology license at age 19, Maureen was determined to own a salon where education and client satisfaction were paramount. Her travels to Dallas, New York City, California, Chicago and Las Vegas have advanced her training in hairdressing and hair coloring. Her commitment to the business side of Do, by hair co has earned her the respect of fellow business owners. Starting her first job at 15 years old, Maureen has been determined to make her life a success.
